FSC® certifications is emitted by the Rainforest Alliance, an independent auditing organization, which verifies the compliance of our company with a set of principles and regulations set by the Forest Stewardship Council® aiming at sustainable forest management on both an environmental as well as socioeconomic level.

By buying FSC® certified products you are assuring that it complies with the highest social and environmental standards on the market. Making them ideal for green building projects such as LEED.

Panamerican Woods Plantations is operating in accordance with the FSC® Principles and Criteria for forest management and chain of custody and has been assigned the FSC® license code FSC-C018348.

Only FSC® Prohibits

  • Conversion of natural forests or other habitat around the world.
  • Use of highly hazardous pesticides around the world.
  • Cultivation of genetically modified trees (GMOs).
  • Respects the right of indigenous peoples around the world.
  • Controls each certified operation at least once a year – and if they are found not to comply, the certificate is withdrawn.
