WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT TEAK?
Teak is the most dimensionally stable wood in the world making it ideal for flooring. When properly installed, it is excellent for residential use. Even if glued directly to a properly sealed concrete sub-floor, 5/8 inch solid teak will not cup or wrap under anything but the harshest conditions that is a reason why it is used so extensively for marine applications and outdoor furniture.
It is one of the most recognized and prestigious hardwoods.

Teak flooring scores over 1,100 on the janka hardness scale; a fact that makes it very desirable for flooring.



FINISHING:
Prefinished with top quality sealer and lacquer, 100% polyurethane with aluminum Oxide, 7 layers of product.
SPECIFICATIONS
  • 2-1/4",3-1/4",4-3/4" wide x 5/8" thick (16mm, heavy 5/8").
  • Random Length: 1' to 4'.
  • Teak is very stable, which makes it ideal for a solid floor, as problems of shrinkage or expansion are minimized.
  • Warranted over radiant heating.
  • Nail down or glue down using urethane glue.

  • Real Teak floors is for residential use. This wood is harder than American Cherry, Southern Yellow Pine and Chestnut; and slightly softer than Red Oak.
