SPECIFICATIONS
1)     Species: cumaru/almendro, color selected for a reasonably uniform champagne color         (Dipteryx panamensis)
2     Flooring Format: pre-finished, engineered 9/16” (13.4mm) x 3-3/8” (85.6mm) x random        length 1’- 7’ long, 3 layer format flooring with the following details:


a) Factory finished with a UV cured acrylic urethane with aluminum oxide in the base      coats in a 20 +/- 5 Matt gloss level
b) Moisture content to be 7 to 9%
c) M milled with micro eased edges
d) Top wear layer thickness is 3mm and is sawn (not veneer)
e) Backing cross slats are plantation teak solid wood sawn slats and are FSC certified      (making the product 70% FSC on a content basis)  (slat sizes are 10.3mm thick by      19 – 22mm wide by 93mm long)
f)  The 3-layer format is a flex back style (separated cross slats) to allow for better      conforming ability on uneven sub floors
g) Product is designed for glue down or floated installation only with use of urethane      mastics only (not water based) and can also be stapled to a plywood sub floor.
h) Lengths are 12”/18”/24”/30”/36”/42”/48”/54”/60”/72” with a min. average of 32” and      containing a maximum of 15% of 12” and 18” lengths.
i)   Average Janka* of 3,000 making our engineered flooring amongst the most durable      on the market.

 *The Janka hardness test measures the force required to embed a .444 inch steel ball to half its diameter in wood.  This is one of the best measures of the ability of wood species to withstand denting and wear.
